{"id":7534,"date":"2026-05-06T16:10:35","date_gmt":"2026-05-06T13:10:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/etfl.ee\/2026\/10\/the-growth-of-nature-tourism-relies-on-cooperation\/"},"modified":"2026-10-06T16:11:02","modified_gmt":"2026-10-06T13:11:02","slug":"the-growth-of-nature-tourism-relies-on-cooperation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/etfl.ee\/en\/2026\/05\/the-growth-of-nature-tourism-relies-on-cooperation\/","title":{"rendered":"The growth of nature tourism relies on cooperation"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On April 21, 2026, the Estonian Association of Tourism and Travel Companies (ETFL), in collaboration with the Nature Tourism Association, organized a practical workshop titled \u201cNature Sells!\u201d, which brought together tour operators and nature tourism service providers to discuss the sector\u2019s development opportunities and ways to strengthen cooperation.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The workshop took place at the Tore Toit event venue in Tallinn\u2019s Old Town and focused primarily on improving the marketing of nature tourism products and expanding sales opportunities in international markets.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nearly 30 representatives from the tourism sector attended the event. Throughout the day, nature tourism service providers showcased their existing and new products, a discussion session was held on opportunities for collaboration, and brief one-on-one meetings were organized between tour operators and service providers.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the ETFL, this format clearly confirms that Estonian nature tourism products have growing potential, but more systematic cooperation among the various stakeholders in the sector is needed to market them more successfully.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe demand for authentic and immersive nature tourism experiences is growing internationally. At the same time, the successful sale of these products depends heavily on how well service providers and tour operators are able to coordinate their activities,\u201d noted K\u00fclli Karing, vice president of ETFL.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Several Estonian nature tourism companies participated in the workshop, including NatourEst, Hansareisid, IndieTours, Soomaa Puhkek\u00fcla, Preeriakoda, Loovusait, Capture Estonia, Uuej\u00e4rve Matkapesa, Wanderlust Team Events, SupTrip, Villa Pillapalu, CityBike Tallinn, Nature Tours Estonia, Humala Kalabaas, Reimann Retked, and Loodusturism.ee.
